Blondes Have More Fun and Sex?
Sweet Z, Asmods and KoKiers around the world, Many people still believe that if you have blond hair means you are more fun than other colours haired people. We have heard in million times about this statement, amazing but is it true? There is no scientific proof about this stereotype.
Some people believe that blondes indeed have more fun but others simply don't bother on such trivial matter. Interestingly this trivial issue makes many scientists or institution have undergone a special study regarding this myth. Even Darwin revealed the secret behind the blondes. Darwin, the father of the one most important scientific theory all of time, turned his formidable intellect to do a study about whether the colour of females hair affect them to gain a mate and do blondes indeed are more success in attracting other sex but after a serious study, he made a conclusion that there is not enough evidence to prove this myth.
Among those who believe the ungrounded myth, young girls around the World especially those who live in Western society, will do hard effort to gain such reputation by dying their hair. If we look back, urban culture which most of them influenced by Hollywood trend. Ah well... But how about in sexual life department?
Interestingly in one of study about this myth published by the Mayo Clinic and Jonas Hopkins, scientists have discovered that while blondes have nearly 385 more sex of all kinds than any other colour haired people in fact, they do not have more fun and do not have more sexual fun either in a sense of achieving orgasm in a statistical other colours. And yet many people still also believe  that natural blondes carry a special aura that follow true blondes everywhere we go, and it exudes sex and fun. No wonder in some lower cases some men need to look carefully the blondes and not the root of hair. Another interesting fact according to this study, they find that blondes were ten times are more consent to give oral sex, doing more kinky sex or even swinging than any other haired colour people. But sadly, the scientists have also discovered that blondes haired people were eight times faked their orgasm and is believed blondes also are more willing to sacrifice their pleasure sexual gratification to their partners.
The blondes stereotype is so popular and attract many self confession among males, and no wonder in the 1960's there was a film "Gentlemen prefer Blondes" starred by Marilyn Monroe. Blondes become a sex symbol, sex goddess. In other words, sex symbol must be blond. You name it in this era: Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz, Miranda Kerr, Charleez Theron, Scarlet Johansen, Kate Moss, Elle Macperson, Elizabeth Hurley and many more. When you are blue eyed and blonds, the world is almost in your hand. And who will not be enchanted by this delicious dream after all? This unrealistic demand is somehow creates an illusion among young people especially among young white females.
After Marlyn Monroe era long gone, there are Madonna, Anna Nicole Smith, who in fact was not natural blonde. Her real hair colour was red hair, meanwhile Madonna was brunette, Christina Aguilerra and so many more.
 In one of books I read, was the un-authorized biography of Anna Nicole Smith, "Blonde Ambition" tells us how desperate Anna to look like her idol Marlyn Monroe and she religiously and dutifully dyed her red hair to be blond. She confessed being blonde, made her more alluring and irresistible and almost certaintly more famous.
The blondes spell will never end. One decade ago, Miss. Universe was identical with blue eyed and blondes. So when you aren't blonde the chance to win was so slim. In one of TV documentary Girl form Ipanema, many Latinos with dark hair complained how desperate they were by not being blond and blued eyes so their chance to win is almost impossible.
Until recently when so many critics who criticized this unfair judgement, the organizer Donald Trump decided to give unblond girl to have the opportunity to be crowned as Miss. Universe, despite her ungodly statement, he still adores blondes. One of his infamous statement that caused quite a stir among the medias was: Jeniffer Hawkins a Miss.Universe 2004, contestant from Australia is the most beautiful Miss.Universes ever.
No doubt, our beloved Jeniffer is blond and blue eyed. Some Hollywood stars even so extreme to adore blondes, such as Rod Steward. He unashamedly declares himself as a blond worshipper, to make the better of himself, in 1999 he wrote a song with the title: Blondes have more fun. In his real life, he confesses never attracted to colour haired women. He proves his words, from his long list girl friends, ex wives and present wife all of them are blondes.
Dear KoKiers, Eight years living in the land of blondes, it's unavoidable to witness the rampant trend among young people with their effort to look blond or more blond. One girl that I know very well, every three or four weeks dutifully will dye her hair to gain blond colour, her original colour is brunette. It almost looks like natural and I myself believed that her hair indeed blonde until one day, I witnessed with my very own eyes some tiny black root starting sprouting everywhere, and before long, she realized this and the following day, her peroxided hair back again.
I never mentioned to her though but I understand that she is one of the blondes believer that blondes are indeed more fun. Couples days ago I bumped into her in a mall, after almost one year I didn't see her, I noticed her hair is almost white much more paler than used to be. Nevertheless, her look is more radiant than before.
 The trend to have blond colour not only popular among white Caucasians but also among Asians and indigenous people. It's not unusual to see Asians people both men and women with very blond hair colour.
Four or five years ago when I worked for a company with some young males co workers, I used to overheard when they were gossiping about girls and their preferences whether to choose blondes, redheads or brunettes.
Blondes are somehow still the most popular among these young males. Whether in fact they will have a brunette or red head or blondes it's not relevant anymore, but still in every conversation regarding women, blondes will be the first choice. It seems so unfair but wait a minute....even many male would rather to have blondes partner but, on the other hand, it seems more intelligent males will choose read heads or brunettes to be their serious partners.
Their reason based on again stereotype that: even blondes have more fun but as the story goes, red heads are likely more passionate in bed than the blondes. According new research in Germany, it's discovered that blondes may have more fun but redheads have more sex that blondes. And many people also believe those brunettes (dark hair) are more intelligent than blondes.
As Asian, the colour of our hair is almost irrelevant, most Asian have dark or brunette colour hair. Therefore in our society the blondes stereotype is unknown. If in the last decade the trend to dye hair in various colour, I believe is nothing to do with the blondes stereotype but merely as a fashion. Young people will feel more fashionable if they dye their hair. Apart from any kinds of myths, in our society we do have typical stereotype of males and females sexuality. The type of nose, ear, mouth or eyes will tell a tale. In one of Javanese stereotype for example if a women with large bosom means they are very nurturing and will look after their men at all cost. This myth maybe something to do with the shape of fat breast as a symbol of abundant food for her offspring. On the other hand, if someone have big nose, she or he is a such generous person.
Despite being blondes to be claimed as more fun or sexier, indeed there is also stereotype that blonds are dumb. This stereotype can make a blond hit the wall somehow and even some of them are being sick of any kind of stereotyping. Among hundreds of dumb blondes jokes are from famous persons who happened to be blondes and famous. The most outrageous and notorious are Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson with their remarks : Paris Hilton : "Does Wall mart sell wall stuff?" while in fact Wall mart is simply a name of big chain retail department stores and shopping centres. Meanwhile her counterpart Jessica Simpson in one of her interview she remarked: "Is tuna chicken?" Of course we can't take it for granted that blonds or blondes are dumbs, it is just a stereotype, it might be true but also it might be wrong. In my opinion somehow the colour of skin, eyes, hair and the personal looks are nothing to do with our brain or skill. Any colours have the same chance to win. Just my two cents.
